The Municipality of Huron East is developing a 10-year Community Services Master Plan to guide the future of parks, recreation facilities, programs, and community services. Community engagement has not started yet; opportunities to participate will begin in June.
About the Master Plan
The Community Services Master Plan will include a review of existing programs, facilities, parks, cemeteries, service levels, budgets, partnerships, and staff capacity. Recommendations will be short-, medium-, and long-term, with a focus on practicality, flexibility, and sustainability.
The Municipality has hired McQueen Galloway Associates (MGA) to complete all phases of the project. MGA has experience working with rural and growing communities and will work closely with Municipal staff, Council, and the community throughout the planning process.
Public engagement is a key component of this project. Community input will help confirm local priorities, assess current and future needs, and shape recommendations.
